Neurotoxins

Botox, a popular cosmetic treatment derived from the neurotoxin botulinum toxin, is widely used to reduce the appearance of wrinkle and fine lines on the face. Administered via injections, Botox works by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause these facial lines, resulting in smoother, more youthful looking skin. Additionally, Botox has therapeutic uses beyond its cosmetic applications. It can be employed to treat various medical conditions, such as chronic migraines, excessive sweating, and muscle spasms. Botox treatments are minimally invasive, provide noticeable results, an are considered safe when administered by trained professionals.

We also carry Dysport, Daxxify, and Xeomin products.

Dermal Filler

While we do list our products for customer viewing, our injectors will work with you to determine your goals and which filler would be best suited for your needs.

Juyederm is designed to address volume loss in various areas of the face.

Restylane injections help restore volume, smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, and add youthful contours to the face.

Revanesse is designed for different areas such as the lips, cheeks, and nasolabial folds.

RHA is designed to address dynamic wrinkles and lines, which are caused by repeated facial movements.

Kybella involves a series of injections to effectively destroys fat cells beneath the chin to gradually improve the contour of the chin and jawline.

IV Infusions

The only IV infusions offered at our practice are those with substantial scientific evidence of their effectiveness.

Migraine Cocktail provides hydration with a combination of medications used in the emergency department setting to treat acute migraine symptoms.

NAD+ is a co-enzyme that plays a crucial role in a variety of biological processes including energy metabolism, aging, and calcium homeostasis.

Hangover Support provides hydration with a combination of medications and essential vitamins that are depleted when alcohol is consumed.

Stomach Bug Relief provides hydration with a combination of nausea medication and vitamin/mineral blend that are lost during episodes of acute vital gastroenteritis.

Immunity Booster provides hydration with a combination of vitamins to support the immune system.

Athletic Performance is a pre and post workout infusion that help increases muscle recovery and improves endurance.

Vitamin B12 Injections help with energy levels, brain function, boosting mood, and improving metabolism.

Owner and IV Infusion Specialist

Alyssa Gambardella

Alyssa is a Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her masters from Quinnipiac University. She is a member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tao national nursing honor society. She is a former emergency department registered nurse who has spent countless hours observing the benefits of IV infusions and injections in the overall wellbeing of the patient. She is certified in neurotoxin and dermal filler injectables through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. With years of experience in emergency medicine and IV infusion services as an RN, Alyssa is excited to launch Muse Medical Aesthetics; A wellness practice that aims to improve both the inner and outer beauty and wellness of its patients. With extensive experience formulating and placing IV’s, and upwards of 5,000 IV infusions, Alyssa has mastered the art of IV infusions and injections.

“My favorite thing about this field is the ability to help people feel better without requiring them to make an emergency room or urgent care visit. After years of working in the emergency department, I have seen the miracles that a simple IV infusion can work. However, I have also seen what a stressful and time-consuming experience it is. With this practice, we can offer patients a quiet, calm, safe environment to receive IV infusions that still allows them the same end result without all the stress of the emergency department. I love that I have been able to combine my devotion to medicine with my passion for aesthetics!”

Injector Specialist

Melissa Tuohy

Melissa is a Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her masters from Quinnipiac University. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tao national nursing honor society. She has 10 years of nursing experience and is a former emergency department registered nurse with additional experience in critical care. She has extensive medical spa experience and is certified by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine to inject neurotoxins and dermal filler. She is also experienced in performing laser treatments, including laser hair removal.
