BodyWise Training
What is BodyWise Training?
BodyWise Training is designed to teach you how to stick to a regular workout split, properly utilize machines, and the principles of progressive overload: gradual increase of the weight, frequency, or number of repetitions in your strength routine. This challenges your body and allows your musculoskeletal system to get stronger.
BodyWise Training lasts 4 weeks and will begin on Monday, September 9th. The schedule (shown below) will follow a 3-day split.
Coached sessions (sessions supervised by a personal trainer) are offered each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6AM. We encourage all participants to complete the workouts at whatever time works for you, but it is helpful to attend the coached sessions to get answers to your questions and trainers to demonstrate safe execution of exercises.
Mondays: Back, Biceps, Glutes, Hamstrings
Wednesdays: Chest, Triceps, Quads
Fridays: Shoulders, Abs, Calves
(All sessions are 60 mins)
Each participant will receive a workout binder filled with your written workouts, designed by our senior personal trainers. The binders will help keep track of each workout - weights used, rep count, how you felt during the lifts, etc. Each week you will challenge yourself to maintain or increase your weights used or rep count - anything to create progressive overload, and truly get stronger! The workout binders contain each workout to make it easy to complete it on your own if you are unable to make the coached sessions.
